ttdown.site is an independent service owned and operated by Asad Hasan. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. in any way.

2. What is the DMCA?

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a United States copyright law enacted in 1998 that provides a legal framework for addressing copyright infringement on the internet. Under Section 512 of the DMCA, online service providers like ttdown.site can qualify for "safe harbor" protections from copyright liability — provided they follow specific procedures for handling infringement notices promptly and in good faith.

Even if you are located outside the United States, we apply DMCA-equivalent principles to all copyright complaints received from anywhere in the world, in accordance with international copyright law standards.

3. Our Role as a Service Provider

ttdown.site operates as a technical intermediary tool. We do not host, upload, store, or own any TikTok videos. Our service processes TikTok video URLs in real-time and delivers the video directly from TikTok's own servers to the end user's device.

Because we do not store video content on our servers, ttdown.site cannot directly "remove" a video from the internet. However, we take copyright concerns seriously and can:

• Block access to specific TikTok URLs through our tool so they can no longer be downloaded via ttdown.site
• Remove or restrict any original content published directly on ttdown.site (such as blog posts or embedded media) that is found to infringe copyright
• Terminate service access for users who repeatedly submit infringing URLs through our tool

For removal of the original video from TikTok's platform, you must contact TikTok directly through their official copyright reporting channel at tiktok.com/legal/report/Copyright .

4. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner — or an authorized agent acting on behalf of a copyright owner — and you believe that your copyrighted work has been infringed through our service, you may submit a formal DMCA takedown notice to us.

4.1 Where to Send Your Notice

Send your DMCA takedown notice by email to our designated copyright agent:

To be valid under the DMCA, your takedown notice must include all of the following:

1. Your identity: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address. If you are acting as an authorized agent, state the name of the copyright owner you represent.

5. Accuracy statement: A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
6. Signature: Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name in the email constitutes an electronic signature).

Notices that are missing any of the above required elements may be considered incomplete and may not be acted upon until the missing information is provided.

4.3 What Happens After You Submit

Once we receive a complete and valid DMCA takedown notice, we will:

1. Acknowledge receipt of your notice within 2–3 business days
2. Review the notice to verify it meets all legal requirements under the DMCA
3. Take appropriate action — which may include blocking the specific URL from being processed by our tool or removing infringing original content from our site
4. Notify you of the action taken once completed
5. If applicable, forward the notice to the user who submitted the infringing URL (if identifiable), informing them of the takedown

5. Counter-Notice Process

If you believe that content involving you or your work was removed or restricted as a result of a DMCA takedown notice that was submitted mistakenly or in error, you have the right to file a formal counter-notice under DMCA Section 512(g).

Please read this section carefully before filing a counter-notice. Filing a false counter-notice is a serious legal matter and may expose you to liability.

A valid DMCA counter-notice must include all of the following:

5.3 What Happens After You Submit

Once we receive a complete and valid counter-notice, we will:

1. Acknowledge receipt of your counter-notice within 2–3 business days
2. Forward the counter-notice to the original complainant who submitted the takedown notice
3. Wait the legally required period — under the DMCA, we must wait 10–14 business days after forwarding the counter-notice before restoring any content
4. Restore access to the content if the original complainant does not notify us that they have filed a court action within the waiting period

Please note: if the original complainant files a court order during the waiting period, we are legally required to keep the content disabled and will not be able to restore it.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with DMCA Section 512(i), ttdown.site maintains a clear policy for terminating service access for users who are repeat copyright infringers.

We define a repeat infringer as any user or IP address that has been the subject of two or more valid, confirmed DMCA takedown notices in connection with their use of our service.

6.1 What We Will Do

• First confirmed infringement: We will block the specific URL(s) from being processed through our tool and issue a warning where the user is identifiable.
• Second confirmed infringement: We will permanently block the user's IP address and any associated access from using ttdown.site, with no obligation to restore access.
• Severe or commercial-scale infringement: In cases involving mass downloading, commercial redistribution, or other large-scale infringement, we reserve the right to terminate access immediately on the first offense without warning.

6.2 What This Means for Users

Since ttdown.site does not require account registration, "termination" means a permanent block of your IP address and any identifiable access method from using our service. We reserve sole discretion in applying this policy based on the nature, frequency, and severity of infringement reports.

7. Warning Against False or Abusive Claims

Filing a DMCA takedown notice or counter-notice that contains materially false information is a serious legal matter. Under DMCA Section 512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that content is infringing — or that content was removed by mistake — may be liable for:

• Damages suffered by the affected party
• Court costs and attorney's fees
• Civil and/or criminal penalties under applicable law

We take all DMCA notices seriously. We also take equally seriously our responsibility to protect users from false, fraudulent, or bad-faith takedown attempts. Abusive notices will be rejected and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

8. Response Timeline

We are committed to handling all DMCA-related communications promptly and professionally:

• Initial acknowledgement: Within 2–3 business days of receiving a complete notice
• Action on valid takedown notice: Within 5–7 business days of verification
• Counter-notice forwarding: Within 2–3 business days of receiving a valid counter-notice
• Content restoration (if applicable): After the mandatory 10–14 business day waiting period following counter-notice forwarding

Incomplete notices that are missing required information will not start the clock on these timelines until the missing information is received.
