How to Find and Copy a TikTok Story Link on Any Device

On the TikTok mobile app (iPhone or Android), tap the profile picture of any account that has an active Story. While the Story is playing, tap the Share button — the arrow pointing to the right at the bottom of the screen — and select Copy Link. Switch to your browser, open this page, and paste the link into the input field.

On a desktop or laptop, open tiktok.com in any browser, find the account with an active Story, tap the Story to play it, and copy the URL from your browser's address bar. Both the full URL format and shortened formats work without any issue.

One important note: Stories look identical to regular video URLs when shared. If you paste a Story link and receive a "video not found" error, the Story has almost certainly expired — the URL format is correct, but TikTok's server has deleted the file. There is no way to recover it after expiry.
